Unfamiliar rabbits should be introduced gradually, especially if they are adults and one or both rabbits have spent a lot of time isolated from other rabbits.

Other producers wait until their ewes are 18 months old before breeding them to lamb as 2 year olds. However, different breeds of sheep reach puberty (sexually maturity) at different ages.
