A combination of population growth, urbanization and rising incomes is driving up demand for meat, dairy products and eggs.<\/span><span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">An<\/span><span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">emerging middle class in developing countries can now afford to consume livestock products on a regular basis for the first time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">There\u2019s a legitimate debate to be had \u2013 based on evidence \u2013 about the environmental cost of livestock in parts of the world.
