Grass and other pastures are among the most commonly used animal feeds, largely due to its availability, especially in the wet season.

\nThe beauty of having pastures chopped is that animals use less energy when they are feeding, which facilitates their weight gain and subsequently, their production.

\nIt is powered by an engine, so a farmer just feeds pasture into it as it carries out the chopping.
\nOn the down side, the machine may require servicing due to effects of wear and tear.
